INTO THE ROSE GARDEN
This whole giant project started for me on August 21st, 2016. Since then, I have made all 18 of these looks that are comprised of 44 separate garments. The collection took me 29 straight days in length to make if I were to add up all the time spent on it! I finished the collection by January 10th, 2018.
After that, my first show was for my high school on January 10th,
RAW Artists on February 14th, 2018,
Omaha Fashion Week March 3rd, 2018,
and Des Moines Fashion Week on April 20th, 2018.
Into the Rose Garden was a story about a relationship that fell apart. Having 18 garments represents the year this project was completed, how many looks were in the collection, and how many months it took to finish the collection itself.
