YOU DON'T KNOW ME

LET'S CHANGE IT UP. You Don't Know Me serves as my very first time dipping my toe into streetwear. Started in late 2018 and finished on February 13th, 2020, It was a collection about big emotions such as freedom, rage, and starkness. The only colors are red, black, and white to invoke a sense of harshness. The collection originally had 15 looks, but got condensed down to 12 for Omaha Fashion Week. This collection was created during the hardest year of my life, 2019, and was created while I was a senior in high school going into my freshman year of college. This Gothic, Victorian Street Wear collection was inspired by the 19th century and today. Using silhouettes that are seemingly Victorian like the "hip pad" jumpsuits and bust flattening corsets, this collection gets fit with formal fabrics and modern colors to create a striking show for the modern, gender neutral, young adult.
